When visiting the Basque Country you cannot miss Getaria, the cradle of the local txakoli wine, with the vineyards spread over green hills facing the Bay of Biscay creating a stunning landscape.
We will stroll around the Old Town on our way down to the fishing port where, during the season, we can learn how to prepare anchovies in oil using completely traditional techniques.
And, of course, we will finish the visit with a glass of txakoli wine!
If anyone wants to stay for lunch, we suggest trying the best grilled turbot in the world. Absolutely delicious!
